Christmas in Vienna

Christmas in Vienna is quite amazing! The streets are filled with lights, decorations, and Christmas markets! I have really enjoyed learning about my students' different ways of celebrating Christmas as well as celebrating some with them beforehand. What a joy it was to hear one of my 6th graders prayer requests which was that we would truly understand the meaning of Christmas - the gift of Jesus - and not care so much about gifts under the tree or things going well. Then an incredible part of this season was being able to celebrate Christmas with my family!! It was such a blessing to have them here to be able to see the ins and outs of daily life and to meet many of my coworkers and friends. Here are some pictures of Vienna and the time leading up to and with my family!
