Romania 2013

Thank you for all who prayed for our trip to Romania to serve alongside a missionary couple, who have opened a home for women and their children (who would otherwise likely be in an orphanage). God answered our prayers in many ways such as for unity, no rain (that would kept us from working),  providing transportation, and transforming our hearts. He continued to prove faithful, and I was humbled in my need to trust Him more and more!

The Facts...
39 people = 29 students + 10 adults
12 countries represented on our team
10 hours of driving each way (for a google maps estimate of 5.5 :))
5 vans
5 days
10 women + 15 kids living in the home
LOTS of mud on the property after weeks of rain
5 feet deep trenches that were dug for pipes and a septic tank
2 walls broken down
3 slabs of a concrete foundation laid
3 days of skits, games, and crafts for both kids and moms
5 bikes we were able to buy for them with money from an ICSV fundraiser event
5 Powerful testimonies shared with our group
