Where to Shop?

So where do you go shopping when you live in Vienna... The first week we went to a variety of stores with staff from school and have been finding a few other shops/markets along the way.

For groceries...
We have a relatively small fridge, so it is quite common to go to the store often and buy less. We have a Billa at the entrance of our apartment building. We also have a Hofer close by (which is Aldi).

There are also great markets - one a few blocks away from our apartment and one a few UBahn stops away called the Naschmarkt (see pictures below from today!).

For furniture and home needs...

There are places like Ikea, Momax, and Lutz (the last two are somewhat similar to a Bed, Bath, and Beyond). We also visited a good will type store called Caritas. 

Caritas - no we didn't buy that couch, but we did get the coffee pot :)
